Molecular characterization of Capripoxvirus isolates from Moroccan sheep

نویسندگان

چکیده

Abstract Sheep pox is a highly contagious infectious viral disease (F/Poxviridae, G/ Capripoxvirus ), still causing economic damage in endemic zones like northern Africa, the Middle East, and many regions Asia. Nevertheless, clinical symptoms caused by sheep virus (SPPV) similar to those genetically related viruses, notably goat (GTPV) lumpy skin (LSDV). One of main objectives current study characterize virus; nasal swabs were taken from showing SPPV signs, submitted molecular sequencing based on P32 gene marker, proceeded genetic comparisons. Phylogenetic results showed that all isolate sequences cluster clade, thus distinguishing them GTPV LSDV. These give an accurate diagnostic clear view strains, guiding veterinary managers control politics, especially choice homologous vaccine.

Molecular identification and capsular typing of Pasteurella multocida isolates from sheep pneumonia in Iran

Pasteurella multocida is known as one of the main organisms causing pneumonia in sheep. As immunity in pasteurellosis is serogroup specific, identification of prevalent capsular group among endemic areas is essential. The aim of this study was to molecular identification and determine of the capsular type of the P. multocida strains isolated from sheep pneumonia in Iran. Bacteriological and bio...

The investigation of molecular characterization of presumptive Listeria monocytogenes isolates from a food-processing environment

Background: Listeria is a Gram-positive, non-spore forming, facultative anaerobic intracellular bacterium. The most important pathogens in mammals include Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria ivanovii. The former generally causes disease and death in both humans and animals while the latter performs sporadically and primarily causes illness in ruminant...

Molecular characterization of Mycoplasma synoviae isolates from commercial chickens in Iran

Detection of Mycoplasma synoviae (MS) by culture and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) has been reported from commercial chicken farms in different provinces of Iran. In some reports the phylogenetic analysis of MS isolates based on 16S rRNA and variable lipoprotein hemagglutinin (vlhA) genes have been carried out. The PCR product containing partial 16S rRNA genes of Iranain isolates was sequence...

Molecular Characterization of Clinical Isolates of Aeromonas Species from Malaysia

BACKGROUND Aeromonas species are common inhabitants of aquatic environments giving rise to infections in both fish and humans. Identification of aeromonads to the species level is problematic and complex due to their phenotypic and genotypic heterogeneity. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Aeromonas hydrophila or Aeromonas sp were genetically re-identified using a combination of previously publi...
